Loving Enemies

Where does one draw the line between loving enemies, and loving evil people? I cannot find any love in my heart for the Taliban and the things they do, like flogging a seventeen year old girl, without even any proof of her supposed "crime." There is no justice in that.

Been trying to think of a good response to this for awhile. All I can say is this:

Loving people does not mean supporting or condoning or even tolerating their behavior. As I see it, if we love people, then we want for them to live lives in harmony with God's intentions for creation. If they are living in a way that is actively opposed to this plan, then I would say that anger and sorrow are appropriate reactions. Hatred is not.

This is your place, so I'll put away my soapbox, but if you want to talk more, let me know. Also, you should write more here. :)
